I Just Wanna Coast

A lazy Thursday today, no classes or work. Trying to have no worries. Woke up to see my girl, that was nice :), now back home babysitting my adorable baby niece.

Today's the kind of day that makes me want to break out a hammock and sleep away any troubles, even though it's 46°F. Whatever, I'll get a blanket, get cozy, put some music on and drift away. Anything to get away. I'd even jump out of a plane just to free-fall and bask in that temporary moment of nothingness and freedom before landing.

Vacation Was Crazy

So I'm back from Pittsburgh and done all the Halloween stuff. Parties were awesome, friends were awesome, everything was awesome. Well except that awfully long 6 hour bus ride, and I lost my wallet and I was too drunk to remember what happened. Full sail to FML. I'm extremely irate because once I got home, no one cleaned the snow off my car (yes, it snowed) and just let it turn to ice. And once I scraped everything all off, I discovered that I somehow have a flat tire even though my car has been sitting home the whole time. Great.

I just don't know anymore man, not my week. I mean I had a lot of fun but I'm starting to wonder if it was worth it.

Pittsburgh, Here I Come

October 28, I depart from Philadelphia. 6 Hours later, I arrive. Pun Intended. I’m staying the weekend before Halloween to party, get shit-faced, and then catch up with my best friend at the University of Pittsburgh. It’s gonna be my first time up in Pitt but I’m excited. I mean it couldn’t get any better unless there were a bunch of hot girls dressing like slu---wait... Never mind. Yea so what are you guys doing?

Run Like Hell

A short animated film by our brothers down in the Netherlands. I was really impressed with this one, it got to me. Have you ever felt like you were being chased by something? I have, pretty much all the time. Might not have been a giant motherfucker shot up on drugs, but in any case, it can get scary. In the end, it might not even be as bad as we hype it up to be. And sometimes, we're just lucky.

What's up everyone. I was just browsing around on YouTube and listening to some Childish Gambino (AKA Donald Glover, a multi-talented powerhouse) and he had sampled a song in his own song "The Girl." So I did some Googling, just kidding I just looked in the description, and was now introduced to Mayer Hawthorne (another multi-talented powerhouse.) "Shiny & New" was the song Childish sampled by the way. And yeah, heard it, loved it, got the album, loved it. He's got soul. I dig it. Been jammin' to it all day, all week. Exactly the type of music to chill my ass on.

Why I've Been Missing

I know you guys have just been DYING to know where I've been this past week and why I haven't posted anything new. Yeah, I bet no one noticed. Anyways, I don't really have an interesting excuse, just been mad busy with school work, regular work, and just personal work/issues. But I got up extra early today just for you. I might go missing like this again, but I will try to post something everyday from now.

Break Room

So today I had 2 classes. One in the afternoon and one at night which I just got back home from (can't leave you guys hangin' right?). In between the 2 classes, I have a long 4 hour break. What to do, what to do... Luckily my college has been doing renovations for the past 2 years and our new break room now has a pool table in it :D


This might not be the best thing in the world but it sure did help me kill a couple hours and kick ass. We used to have a ping pong table instead, but personally I prefer this. All we need now is a fridge with beer.

Cars: Love 'em, Hate 'em

I don't know about you guys but I love driving. I love cars. EXCEPT when they break down on my broke ass and leave me hanging in the street. If you have your own car then you know how much it can cost to keep your car running. Especially if your car has been around a long time. I drive a 1995 Mitsubishi 3000GT. Not the VR-4 sadly. 5-Speed, 3.0 L V6 DOHC. Pretty much all stock, just an intake with a K&N filter. But still a hell of a ride.

My Baby

 I love my car but it has gotten me in some sticky situations, and hit me hard in the wallet too. Sixteen year old discontinued car; parts are a bitch. Gas guzzler too. I bought it as a project car in hopes of making it awesome but I can't keep up anymore. I'll become a hobo even faster than I thought. I'm selling the car :O

Looking for a replacement for this beast within the $2000-$3000 price range. I was thinking of getting a 1990 Honda Prelude or a 4th Gen Prelude. What do you guys think? Any suggestions?

Renovations

So my dad is the type of guy who is a do-it-yourself man. And a workaholic too. Both of my parents recently got laid off just like that after being loyal workers for over a decade. Some ol' Bullshiiiiiiit if you ask me.

Anyways, since my dad can't just sit around and do nothing, we have started a new project. Great. -_-' Let's take a swing at enclosing the porch. But for someone who doesn't do construction for a living, he knew a lot. And it's looking good too! I feel a warm sense of accomplishment coming after this one.

How about everyone else? Do you like to try and do everything yourself if you  think you can? Personally, I'm reluctant to try and do things I'm not skilled in, but to each his/her own.

Come In

This is my mind. And yeah, we're taking a trip so watch your step. Anything interesting, crazy, stupid, awesome or whatever the fuck else goes through this 20 year old struggling student's head will probably get more than a few mentions on here. Come for the experience or just the shits and giggles. But, please, do come in. Take off your shoes though, I don't play that shit.
