I don't know about you guys but I love driving. I love cars. EXCEPT when they break down on my broke ass and leave me hanging in the street. If you have your own car then you know how much it can cost to keep your car running. Especially if your car has been around a long time. I drive a 1995 Mitsubishi 3000GT. Not the VR-4 sadly. 5-Speed, 3.0 L V6 DOHC. Pretty much all stock, just an intake with a K&N filter. But still a hell of a ride.

I love my car but it has gotten me in some sticky situations, and hit me hard in the wallet too. Sixteen year old discontinued car; parts are a bitch. Gas guzzler too. I bought it as a project car in hopes of making it awesome but I can't keep up anymore. I'll become a hobo even faster than I thought. I'm selling the car :O
Looking for a replacement for this beast within the $2000-$3000 price range. I was thinking of getting a 1990 Honda Prelude or a 4th Gen Prelude. What do you guys think? Any suggestions?
Not a big car guy, but we do need. Def hate them when they break down. +followed
ReplyDeleteIt always surprise me how cheap cars are in the US, damn.
ReplyDeleteSadly I can't help, but wish you luck on this!
I love driving too.. you have a nice tree area next door
ReplyDeleteHah, I've been driving a '99 tracer, so I don't think I can't really offer you much help!
ReplyDeleteYea my cars maintenance is driving me into the poor house. Good luck bro
ReplyDeleteHonda Prelude is sweet, i would go for it:)
ReplyDeleteFrom personal experience I would say a Volvo 850 is definitely something you would want to look for.
ReplyDeleteIt's not flashy, but these models are incredibly durable, efficient and best of all they were built to last.
Considering their age you might find one anywhere between 2500-3500. Might be just a step more expensive but they're def worth every penny.
Wow, I never realized your car is already 16 years old.
ReplyDeleteGood Luck!
ReplyDeleteI love Hondas, my family actually owns two CRV's haha. Mine's old as shit but it still works beautifully. Good luck with the hunt for the new car! =)
ReplyDeleteHondas are ok if you live in europe. Not sure about parts in the USA... But there is always eBay..
ReplyDeleteGet a mazda RX7. 1.3 engine with ~200bhp.
